Functional Movement + Fitness Training
As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, I design personalized workout programs to support postural stability, joint mobility, functional movement, balance, muscular strength, cardiovascular health, and overall endurance. Whether you're recovering from injury or illness, starting a fitness journey after a doctor’s recommendation or lab result, or simply wanting to feel, move, and look better—we’ll work together to define your goals and build a plan that works for you.
Functional movement training goes far beyond lifting weights or running. It's about building real, usable strength that improves how you move through everyday life—and helps you feel better while doing it. This approach encourages a thoughtful exploration of what health and mobility mean for you, especially as you age.
We’ll focus on movements that mimic real-life activities, identify the root causes of discomfort, and help you move with intention.
The goal is simple: to empower you to live more actively, more confidently, and with less pain.
At the core of this training approach is a deep connection to nature. By observing and mimicking natural forms and functions, we can optimize movement patterns, unlearn harmful habits, and build greater resilience—both physically and mentally.
Your program will be fully customized to support your unique goals and needs. Together, we’ll assess full-body function, identify areas for improvement, and build strength and endurance over time. We'll correct postural imbalances, improve flexibility, and increase your range of motion—helping you move with greater ease and comfort.
With consistent training, you can also improve body composition and reduce excess body fat, supporting better function of your cells, organs, and overall health.
What to Expect
I help my clients safely and effectively reach their movement goals by meeting them where they’re at and continually adapting the program as they evolve. I take a holistic approach to help ensure you’ll achieve sustainable results.
We can meet in person if you’re located in Denver or virtually. Just like training with me in person in the gym, at your home or outside, every virtual training session will be unique and designed for you based on goals, injuries and needs.
The first step is to send an email of your interest to explore personal training or schedule a free consultation. During this 30-minute conversation, we’ll get to know each other and determine whether I’m the best person to support your fitness journey. We’ll confirm the session program and schedule, identify goals, review your health history, complete necessary forms and waivers, and explore in-person locations or equipment needed.
Sessions will last 50-55 minutes and always include a warm-up, conditioning and cool-down period. Depending on your goals, you’ll have homework between sessions as needed.
