Overview
I’m Lex Amore, an Integrated Nutrition Health Coach and Functional Movement Trainer. Heal with Amore was founded in 2023 with the mission of offering accessible health and lifestyle coaching tailored for personal healing, inspired by and connected to the natural world. In 2025, my practice expanded to include functional movement training to help people move better, grow stronger, and achieve their personal fitness goals.
Approach
I support my clients in becoming experts on themselves by exploring their unique internal wisdom, increasing self-awareness, and adopting holistic pathways to optimal health and wellbeing. Together we’ll pursue an ongoing process of transformation across multiple dimensions to functional health. Programs will be designed for personalized, sustainable behavior and perspective changes that will work for you.
Health is not just about living a long time. The goal is to feel good and be capable of living a functional life for as long as possible. I serve my clients in ways that support mental, emotional, and physical abilities essential for an interconnected, active and enjoyable life.
In addition to helping individuals optimize their lives through general aspects of health and fitness, I also specialize in working with clients dealing with obstacles related to traumatic brain and body injuries, chronic pain and fatigue, as well as depression and anxiety. Healing Squad
YOU are the Captain of your Healing Squad, the team selected to support your journey toward health, self-discovery and wellbeing. Your squad includes your doctor, therapist, best friend, acupuncturist, or any other alternative or functional medicine practitioners that can help you reduce pain and suffering, reconnect with yourself and your purpose, heal trauma, and optimize your life.
Everyone that you choose in your Healing Squad serves a role. As your coach, I will not diagnose or treat you—I will help you navigate the healthcare system; translate diagnoses; plan recovery; and offer encouragement, guidance, and accountability to support you each step of the way as you do the hard work of healing.
Inspired by Nature
In the practice of biomimicry, we seek to solve functional challenges by looking to how nature, the surviving animals, plants, fungi, and other species that exist on Earth, have successfully adapted to similar obstacles. I will help you use nature’s time-tested strategies to adapt and grow from the difficulties you face.

Inclusivity
At Heal with Amore, I believe nature-connected health and lifestyle coaching should be accessible and welcoming for everyone. While I’ve worked to build a practice that is inviting and inclusive, the reality today is that the health and wellness space is still not representative of or felt safe by all people. To support the change I want to see in the industry and across our collective society, I recognize I must start from within my sphere of influence. I am committed to offering an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive, regardless of their background, identity, or experience. I’ve participated in multiple training programs focused on cultural inclusivity, unconscious bias, and putting mechanisms for ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities into real practice. It is my mission to embrace diversity in all its forms and support a practice that is safe, inclusive, and equitable for all.
Land Acknowledgement
Heal with Amore was birthed on the island of Maui in 2023, and it is from this place I acknowledge Hawai’i as a sacred area where the original people, Kanaka ʻŌiwi, migrated and are survived by descendants who today identify as Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian). I recognize that it was through the involuntary force, coercion, and the breaking of formal treaties that the land was illegally taken. I offer gratitude for the generations of Hawaiians who bestowed their knowledge systems in shaping the Islands in a sustainable way that have allowed so many of us to learn, grow, connect with the natural world, and cherish the reverence the culture provides.
In 2025, I moved my practice to Denver, Colorado; and in this new home, I recognize the ancestral land where my work resides and where Indigenous people were massacred and forcibly removed from their sacred land. I extend deep respect to generations past, present, and future to come. I acknowledge the extensive white privilege in my experience of living and working on these lands, and it is my intention to practice in a way that honors the land and the historic relationship that the Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), Tséstho’e (Cheyenne), Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Great Sioux Nations) peoples have with this place.
Most of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Great Sioux Nations peoples who lived in reciprocity with this sacred land were killed or forced into reservations by the US government as a way to control and prioritize space for European-Americans moving into the region. As of today, sovereignty and reconciliation have never been granted. Each day I am fortunate enough to live, work, move, breathe, and partake in receiving the natural resource of water, I offer my deep appreciation, respect, and gratitude.
